So what has happened to Larry? He writes a great book, does a few interviews and then seems to have disappeared, at least from the net. His blog website is still up but no posts since 2010. I think his book, along with Ladislovs, are must reads. Would be nice if he dropped in here occasionally.

I noticed that too. He was in my Facebook friends list, but he disappeared from there too. Larry, why have you abandoned us?

I was in Philippines last year. I never founded love, but lots of quick one night stands. Tons of beautiful women. Trick in Manila, is not to show them you like them, other wise they start using you.

With only two non-consecutive days planned for Manila next month (a small part of a larger trip), I had already started doing what the above guide suggests--attempt to set up a date in advance through online dating sites. But the Philippines online dating scene seems to be only marginally better than the Western online dating scene. Just as with Western online dating, the girls who are young & pretty show the usual lack of investment with their one-word replies, "forgetting" to reply, or never replying at all, while the ones who are not young & pretty are...well, not young & pretty. Doesn't look promising.

Maybe it would be more realistic to plan on enjoying some sightseeing on my own, or whatever there is to do in Manila that doesn't involve chasing skirts. It will be my first time in the Philippines. What would you do if you were me?

Come to angeles city. Its one of the best places in the world with the best vibes. That's why so many foreigners stay here. Its easy to get around and there are lots of girls to choose from. May be hard to find a gem but if you are proactive it's very possible. I am leaving soon but you can post in the Philippines meetup thread to see if anyone wants to meet up.

Come here and you will understand. Billy and zboy1 did and they agree with me. Angeles has the best vibe. Very blissful and soothing to your soul. So its not just a sex paradise. Its got it all. Youll never want to leave. Nowhere is more relaxed than here.

Thanks, I'd love to, but I'll be on a very tight schedule though so I don't think it will be possible this time.

I think the foreigners are there for the p***y not the vibes, Winston. Anyway, in my opinion I thought AC was the total opposite due to the number of rough looking dudes hanging around Fields Avenue.

Don't go to Angeles lol especially if you're looking for a proper relationship. If I was you, I'd be going to one of the laid back islands such as Siquijor or Malapascua but this isn't practical in two days.

Uhhhh, everything is subjective but AC was one of worse trip in my life. But I went there many years ago.
